Content & Acceptable Use Policy

Latent is a gallery for AI-generated artwork. Everyone who uploads is responsible for what they submit. The rules below apply to all uploaded images, metadata, prompts, comments and account information.

Zero tolerance: child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes minors — including AI-generated, drawn, or otherwise synthetic depictions. Such content is strictly prohibited.

• Detected or reported CSAM is removed immediately and the account is terminated.
• We preserve relevant records and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or appropriate authorities as required by law, and cooperate with law enforcement.
• Anyone can report suspected CSAM via our report form.

Other prohibited content

• Anything illegal under applicable law, or that facilitates illegal activity.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content depicting real, identifiable people without consent.
• Content that harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence against others.
• Hateful content targeting protected groups.
• Malware, deceptive content, phishing, or attempts to compromise the service.
• Spam, or use of the service as a generic file host / image CDN unrelated to the gallery (including hotlinking media from other sites). Uploads must be artwork showcased here.
• Content infringing others' intellectual property (see our DMCA policy).

Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and retain records or notify authorities at our discretion, with or without notice, to keep the platform safe and lawful. Removed content is hidden everywhere and its stored image data is deleted.
